I'm thinking of getting this truck. I ran a carfax and that turned up A-OK. I had my dealer run the VIN for service records and it turned up a couple things. Flywheel had some work done (replaced maybe, I didn't think to ask), a hose was replaced, and a couple other very minor things. No recurring probs. Nothing I'd worry about.

How reliable are the '06's? Anything to look out for?

why no qc, nice for the room even for just stuff. also why was the fly wheel replaced? and what else is wrong with the truck? not here to say it is bad, just i paid 34k that include tax, tag, and stuff for mine, it had 18k miles. see sig. do not know how trucks are priced where you though it might be right on. it just seems a bit low for me. .

other than that, heard many people have to replace the vac pump for the brake, other that had it out on the first trip, went to NC, for wedding, wife, kid tons of stuff no problems... ...

I love the room of the QC and the ride, but I get into too many smallish yards that I really hate the lack of manueverability. Also, for a personal truck, a QC LB is a pita in parking lots.

The truck is priced a little bit lower than most others I have looked at. About $1000 lower, not much really. I doesn't seem as "pretty" as some of the others, maybe that's just the pics.

I don't know specifically why the flywheel was listed, but replacing or working on a DMF kinda goes with the territory. I don't know if it was replaced or worked on. Not sure what you can do with one other than replace it.

I heard that about the vac pumps for the brake as well. I'd rather have a BD brake, but they're not asking extra for the truck because of the brake.

i've been emailing the guy for 2-3 weeks. I can't seem to find the time to get down there. With my luck it'll be gone before I get there. "Advertising" it here probably isn't helping me much, but I wanted opinions.

I say you would need to get it cheaper to make it worth it, I really think if you bargined really well you could get a new one for 30k, you may want and older one for the mileage, anyhow just keep in mind you could likely get an '08 2 yr newer truck with no miles on it for 30k
