Archived 06 with limp mode. No cel reader

Guy's, I need some quick help if possible. My 06 went into limp mode after swapping to a superphatshaft62. I sent the turbo back to industrial and they sent me a new one. Got the new turbo on tonight but the truck is still in limp mode. I don't have a reader for the 06 so I am wondering if there is anyway to get the truck out of limp mode with out a reader/eraser? I really need this rig first thing in the morning early so I am desparate. Thanks for the help!!

Have you tried disconnecting/unloading the TST? The R49 is known to throw code, although limp mode is interesting.

try cycling the key and let us know what the codes are

disconnect both batteries, have beer then reconnect.

Thanks all for your quick replys. I was able to get the truck out of limp mode after 5-7 succesful ignition starts. The CEL went out now too. I couldn't pull the code because like a rookie, I didn't write them down the first time and they erase after the first showing. Anyway, truck is running pretty good now. thanks again!!

you are hit with the P0299 code low turbo boost pressure. You need a fix from your turbo guy or buy a smarty to keep clearing the code.

I have had an SPS62 on both my trucks for 3. 5 months. I have only got the P0299 code twice (3 times if you count initial start up). Once while towing and once running empty.



My second truck, it has only happen once, running empty.



So the code will be back, but not real frequently (depending on driving style)
