I recently bought an 06 dually. I used to tow the same load (2 quads on deck and 34' trailer), about 22000 lbs GCVR with my 03 2500 QC SB. Obviously the new truck with the duals and longer wheelbase tows the load much much better. Mileage on the new truck is down comapred to my 03. This truck gets about 16 mpg highway and 10 towing the above load. Overall I like the new truck a lot.
