My '07, 5. 9,G56 has just 10,000 miles on it now. For the last 5,000 miles, I can feel the clutch pedal "BUZZ" when I push it in to shift. The buzz is RPM sensitive. Higher RPM, MORE buzz. Also even at idle the clutch pedal feels "Not smooth". Shut the engine off and the clutch feels smooth as silk when you push the pedal in.
I figure if I take it to DODGE, they are going to tell me that "The clutch is NOT WARRANTIED" end of story!
I drove rickety old UPS trucks for 30 years and NEVER knocked out a clutch on ONE! They only replaced a clutch disc once when the mechanic pulled the trans to seal a leak.
To say the least, I am VERY good with a clutch. I drove a neighbor kids '07,5. 9 6spd and his was the same. He has had his clutch slip because he put too much power add-ons on it.

ANY SUGGESTIONS as what I should do? Do ALL of the G-56 trucks with the dual mass flywheel do this?

I've got 8200 miles on mine and no buzz, but definitely a "scratchy" feeling in the clutch pedal when it is engaged and disengaged. It is,however, the smoothest, best shifting sucker of a truck transmission I've ever had. Nearly silent. I'm sold on Brown's Diesel when replacement time comes. Good prices and quick dependable service I'm told. He has e-mailed me immediately with answers and price quotes. I contacted two other companies and heard nothing. Sounds like Richard@Brown's Diesel wants the work. :)

Note: There is currently a TSB on the 06/07 LuK stock clutches from Dodge in regards to the self-adjuster being messed up. Take it in and get er done!

My '05 G56 started the buzz at 1000 miles. I think it originates in a nylon roller at the top of the pedal. I forget how long it persisted, but I'd bet not more than 5K miles. In 64K miles, this same clutch is more smoothly shifting and quiet than ever... and with no maintenance whatsoever.

I don't think we are talking about the same noise. This noise, also accompanied by a slight vibration through the clutch pedal only occurs when disengaging the clutch to shift gears, and seems related to the clutch and DMF transmitting vibrations through the operating mechanism. Other than that, trans and clutch performed well for 16000 miles.
