07 5.9 vs. 07.5 6.7 pricing .....

On the 07's, would a 5. 9 automatic cost the same as a 6. 7 automatic if the trucks were otherwise identical ??



In other words, did the 6. 7 and new 6 spd automatic cost more than the old 5. 9 and 48re. I know they have that Bluetec price added in there, but other than that is there any difference in the price?

I don't remember actual prices but I think the 6. 7ISB and 68RFE are each priced higher than the 5. 9ISB and 48RE.

Just a thought, the aftermarket is much more supportive of the 5. 9 engine. This may change has time goes on but i think it has to do more with the emissions laws.

I bought my 07 5. 9 for $5000 less than an exact 07 6. 7.

yes,the 07. 5 has a larger sticker price,but they claim to give you the e. b. for free. yea right!
