'07 CC fuel tank on '03-06?

Anyone know if a fuel tank from a Cab & Chassis will fit in the same location on an "standard" truck? I'm not sure what the price of that tank is, but I'm betting as time goes on they will be cheaper then aftermarket auxillary fuel tanks simply due to the volume that are produced.

I don't think it will work. The pickup frame has a crossmember to carry the spare tire and the CC does not have this crossmember. There is a thread in the '07 Engine & transmission section that has a lot of pictures of the CC. Compare the frame were the tank sits with a pickup frame.
