Archived 07 power steering?

I have a 07 5. 9 2500 crew 4X4 and it has started to lose power steering from center to the right on occasion.



I noticed that if I turn it just a little to the left and back to the right it is fine.



Hard to do a mountain road when the truck decides it wants to go straight.



Any help would be appreciated.

I had a very similar problem in my truck. A new power steering box fixed the problem. My "old" box was a rebuilt unit, I am suprized that an '07 would be having a problem.

I had some of the same trouble on my 01. I had bent the steering stabilizer shock and it was binding. It was more noticable when cold.
