'08 stock wheels fit a 04.5?

The '08 wheels will mount up to any HD Ram back to at least 1988, probably back to the 70s.

Just wont go from the 70's era to anything past 03 2500's and up. Brakes are to big.

So the stock tire ON A SLT in '08 was the BFG's rugged trial 265/70/17, and the upgrade was BFG TA/KO'S?

I have a set of take-off 2007 forged aluminum wheels and tires; they fit all the Dodge diesels.

I wanted a set of those and couldn't find any, or at least any at a reasonable cost, so I ended up buying a new set for a few hundred bucks. Wish I would have known you had some then. I got a pretty good deal on the aftermarket ones though so I'm not too upset.



I've heard people have had one heck of a time getting those alum ones off sometimes, to the extent of using a BFH to get them off.

3rd gen alloys have the same bolt pattern as the gen I but because they are 18's the will rub on the tie rod ends.



But all Gen III 2500/3500 are interchangeable.

I recently got a set of the 2005 chrome steel 17" rims for my 95. While the rims fit fine, the hub cab did not in the rears. The dana 80 hub has bolts on it that interfered with the hub cab inner contour. I use the die die grinder and made some clearance on the plastic hub cab and it fit. The front is 2wd and fit fine.
