09 SRW 4X4 diff capatacity?

I looked through my owners manual and no listing for ammount of gear oil in the diffs? Just that it takes 75/90 syn, and how close to the hole it should be filled to. Anyone have the ammounts required, even close so I dont buy way more than I need.

IIRC, 8 quarts will do both axles and you'll have a little left over.

I think the factory cover allows it to hold 4 qts...

AMSOIL Online Product Application Guide Type in the model year and click on the build list. Capacities are listed on the RH side near the bottom.

Thanks Jim, I have been an Amsoil guy for about 9 years now and did not know about that referance!

I learned something new about the American Axles that probably everybody on here knows. Don't fill them until oil comes out the fill hole. There is a mark you can feel inside the housing that indicates how full they should be. If you over filled - they say it blows out the pinion seals.
