Competition Double Disk Clutch

Well I took my truck to the track yesterday and and best run was 15. 2 at 98mph. Keep in mind that is on the stock clutch with just the smarty and straight piped. I left the tailgate on and lowered it, didnt remove spare tire or anything. Is that good or just ok?

id say pretty good.

98mph is a good trap speed and the high ET is due to the fact that the 6spds just arent meant to be launched and shifted down the track!

My old man has an 04. 5 (600) that went 16. 2@82mph auto BONE STOCK motor wise down to the paper filter and muffler. he does have a 2" lift and 33's.

you are 1 sec and 16 mph faster and you had to shift... but you are on the right track.

Thanks, clutch will be going in, in a month or so, and I am going to throw some more power at it and hit the track again. Next time I am going to cut the weight down also.

98 is a great trap speed. It almost does not add up with your ET. If you work on your 60 foot, low 14's for your. Your Trap is 10-15 MPH better then most stock trucks. You definitely lost ET because of your shifts-launch.

The Smarty! IT sure delivers the RWHP…. .

For as little that is done to my truck, I was happy with the results. I am going to aim a little more towards drag racing than pulling from here on out. Not enough handshakers drag racing in my opinion. After I get the clutch I am going to put the truck on a diet and see what I can get out of her.
