I need to get a 1/4 thermocouple that is compatible with my SPA gauges, the hole I tapped for the old one was this size and I'd rather have the larger one. I saw a reference to this but I've had no luck with the search. All I know is it has to be a K type thats ungrounded.

2001 black dually,4x4, 6 speed H. O. ,loaded up. Jacobs E brake, lighted running boards, toolbox, solor visor, mag hytec cover, rhino lined, diamond tread rail protectors, mud flaps with genos chrome plates, megs exhaust tip, VDO vision series pillar mounted pyro & boost gauges (to be changed), rerouted blowby bottle, torklift class 5 double tube extension hitch and frame mount camper anchors... Its not a hobby anymore, its an addiction!

Good luck finding one that will work. . The Auto-Meter one does not work, nor does the ISSPRO. I elected to keep the SPA 1/8" probe on my truck. #ad

Dune Racer, call me. Email me for the number. The hole you would drill in the manifold is for 1/4" pipe thread. The t-couple is 1/8 dia. These are different things of course. The 1/8 dia t-couple requires a 1/4 pipe thread tapped hole.

HVAC, are you sure that the 1/8" dia TC needs 1/4" NPT threads? I used 1/8" NPT for mine, and used the stainless fitting supplied with the SPA TC. Used an 11/32" drill for the 1/8" NPT. Used the same drill & tap for the SPA boost sensor as well.

I sell heaters(industrial) and thermocouples have a custom thermocouple made its simple and cheap www.eustispyrocom.com tell them Bob Wagner sent ya.

Your right Evan. I do have the manifold drilled and tapped for 1/4 pipe, but I forgot that when I switched to the SPA gauges I had to scrounge up a 1/4 - 1/8 bushing to get the t-couple to fit. It should be 1/8 as you said. Pardonamiento por fa vor #ad

Thanks for the tips guys, I talked to SPA today and he said they had been testing an Isspro 1/4 thermocouple for use with their gauge and had already put their plug on one. He offered it to me for their cost, I'm not sure what the number is but I'll post it if its on the one I get. Now to get these big connectors through the firewall somehow #ad
