I installed a 1. 5 inch leveling kit on my 2009 2wd quad cab SWB but after having it allighned it is making noise when I back up and pull forward. I checked everything to make sure it is tight and everything is but stills makes noises. Any sugggestions?
I have a 2inch suspention maxx and if I push down on the front bumper, it makes a clunking sound also... . but i never hear it driving down the road, just when i push on it...
shock bolts and track bar lower mount are common points for that clunking. the track bar needs to be REAL tight, I'm sure someone will add the correct torque spec
I have a 2014 Laramie. Put 2" leveling kit on mine in Feb, 2014 right after I bought it. My clunking sound started in July of this year. Service department said it
Was slack in the driveshaft. What "I" finally figured out, it was my fault for shifting from Reverse to drive before I let the RPM's drop down. It was even worse going from Drive into Park. Watching the RPM's now and that sound is gone. Merry Christmas ️
