What does it take to get a 4x4 5sp truck to get low 9 high 8. What mods need to be done.

It depends on which truck you are talking about. At one time my 2002 4x4 had a B-1Quickspool, mach 3's, ATS transmission, TST PM3, and BD Antidefueler and was running 8. 30's in the 1/8th mile. The 7's are a different story. What truck are you talking about(1st, 2nd, or 3rd gen)?

Last time I ran at the track I managed four in the 9. 1 - 9. 3 range which netted 14. 3 in the 1/4. Truck weighed 6300 that night. All mods are in my sig. I dynoed last week at ATS and made 335hp/760trq totally uncorrected power.

You will need a good clutch.

I cant remember my 1/8 mile time all i can remember is still hazing the tires at the 330' mark and cranking off a 14. 83 at 99. 7mph and spanking my buddy's lighting and btw that was on mud tires... ... .
