the least expensive thing to do is use a napa 1749 filter with a 89750 base. do not change the filter at oil changes, just simply unscrew it and drain the oil out of it and replace. the dirtier the filter get's the better it filters. around the time for a oil change just feel the filter, if it is warm it is working. since this was made for trucks holding 44 quarts of oil you will have to make a smaller orifice. make it in the fitting you use in the stock filter housing. use a . 032" drill
