Hey guys, here is my second analysis. This is 10,000 miles on Mobil 1 Truck & Suv. I'm running an Amsoil dual remote bypass setup. After sampling, I changed the full flow filter and left the oil in. Just wanted to post these for those who were curious how the oil might hold up in this type of setup. As you can see from the below results, the oil is still in great shape, and doesn't need to be changed. After the time of sampling, I changed the full flow filter, for a total removal of 2 dirty quarts and insertion of 2 new quarts. I will sample again in another 10k miles.

When

Always used Mobll one with my gassers. Started using it as soon as got home from dealer with new vehicle. Have 11500 miles on truck now. At what mileage should I change to synthetic? Tks. Steve

Let's not forget that this Mobil 1 truck and suv is really relabeled Delvac 1 - not the same as other mobil 1 oils, it's a diesel specific extended drain synthetic.

Stephen, you'll get a wide variety of responses to your question. I suggest you do a search or start another thread with your question. Doing a search is probably best though, because your question has been asked about a zillion times.
