Looks like A/C ducting. No weight there.

I bet a DOT cop will have all sorts of fun with that truck. The VIN says W350 with a 10,900 GVW. That extra axle doesn't mean anything to a DOT cop. He goes by VIN weight rating.

Hopefully the trailer has good brakes, as first gen don't win any awards in that department. Snoking

Upfitters can re-placard for higher ratings, right? In my state it is as simple as paying for the tonage to cover the load. Snoking

Exactly, my '01 is licensed for 16K. The only thing I can see wrong, is the trailer needs a bulkhead or the truck needs a headache rack.

Nick

Id say both truck and trailer needs a headache rack on them , There is a set of rear end ive seen but im shure they were custom built on a pair of minature Freightliners built by The Late Ken Self ex CEO of Freightliner those axels are dual drive im shure this dodge is not id say its either a motor home chassis or a tag axel or after market . In oregon at least for trailers any how your allowed 600lbs for inch of tire touching the road surface
