If a 100 plate is so popular, why does nobody sell them like they do 10,8,6, etc. ?

Guess its not your 'standard' grind...

with the 12v being almost 10yrs out of (dodge) production now, I dont see anyone jumping to create a new plate profile. .

Myself, I ground my own #100 out of my stock plate, slowly, and quenching the steel to keep the temper. Love it.

i did mine with a bench grinder then cleaned it up with a bit on my drill. i love free power.

Thats easy to answer in two words..... EPA Regulations.

The 100,being a cross between a 10 and a 0 and its excessive smoke would never meet EPA regs at all. Keep in mind also that diesel shops,while they sell them,are supposed to making sure the owners know they are "not street legal". . LOL... ... Andy
