 Of course the truck never breaks in the driveway, right.

I am on a trip overnight and after a couple hours of non stop highway I get off to use the bathroom and notice the truck is idling at 1000rpm. Weird but I continue. First time I pull off for food and go to shut down the truck it will not shut down. I screw with the juice and find the throttle % at 2% and turn off the turbo timer to ensure it is not keeping to truck running. I end up intentionally stalling the truck to shut it down. This resets the system and on startup all is well.

I drive another hour and everything is normal. But after the next longer period of highway I notice the same thing while exiting. I am back up to 1000rpm, 2% and it won't turn off.

Ideas? The Juice? TPS?

This is a 2001. 5 HO with dd2s, juice..... and a bunch of stuff that does not matter for this case. I need help.

Thanks

Ted

Does the juice allow you to increase idle to warm engine or extended periods of idling?

If you think the juice is causing malfunction maybe you should unplug it unitl you get home to check it out.

I removed the juice for the ride home and it still happened. The juice was the reason it would not shut down but not the reason for the high idle. I have replaced the apps but have not been on a long stretch of highway to be able to test it. It only seems to occur after +/- 2 hrs of cruise control highway driving.

The juice does not have a high idle provision.

Your cruise is electronic in the 24 valves as I recal (12 valves are vacuumed controlled/electronics).

Maybe your cruise or its electronic components are acting up (vehicle speed sensor, crank position sensor or the other electronics that feed data to the PCM/ECM).
