Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) 100k miles and counting

Finally reached 100k and took a picture and no jack stands were involved with this shot. I'm really happy with the first 100k. Although I've had to replace a rear pinion seal, gearcase to block seal and had the oil pressure gauge drop to zero problem. The KDP was tabbed around 90k and was out about 1/16". I have a 53 block to keep an eye on, but hopefully that'll be it for a while.

The glare was just right, can't quite read the odo. Mileage is at 100064.

BTW, where on the block can I look for the #53?

Check my readers rigs pics. I got some good ones of the 53. Crawl under in front of your front left tire and look up at the top front left corner of your oil pan. On the left side very close to the front, near the bottom of the block, just above the oil pan lip. I had to wipe off the road grime and oil to see the numbers good enough to take a pic. The numbers are about an inch tall and do protrude from the block a bit.

I'm all for that. I've got a dual purpose bike for sale and if it goes, I'll have enough do re me for gauges, plate, 3k gsk and beer money. The thought actually did cross my mind of corralling yous guys into helping me out at the first semi annual.

I went to Cody for groceries Wednesday and mine was going to turn 100K. I was going to watch it, but I forgot so I just now went out and looked at it. It reads 100065.
