My 2003 Dually is about a week away (300) miles from turning 100,000 miles :eek:and is running great. Do any of you have any suggestions on what should be done to it to keep it in top running condition? I plan on having the radiator flushed and filled and was wondering about having the serpentine belt changed out? Any suggestions on other things to do? Does the belt need to be changed or not? Thanks for your input.

Changing the serpentine belt would not hurt regardless and you might think about cleaning or checking the oil line to the filter. the serpentine belt is fairly cheap at geno's for 37. 00 dayco or 48. 00 mopar. Also congrats on your babies milestone but many more to go... i should break 90,000 during the holidays. Oo.

I'm at 95K right now and have assembled to parts for my 100K activities, planning on doing this over 3 weekends.

I've got serp belt and all hoses; Cummins coolent concenrtate to make 14 Gallons; Thermostat; Trans, T-case, Diff fuids and replacemnet trans filter (these are 25K activities), as well as both fuel filters [stock and 2 mcron] (10 K activities). I'm also doing a valve adjustment and clean the fins/air passages of the intercooler and radiator.

Is it a good idea to replace the belt tension idler pulley at the same time?
