100K today

Going to hit 100k today going home. Gotta take me some pretty pictures, so I can get one of those fancy decals to put on my truck. Now If I can just figure out how to convince the child bride that I need certain parts to keep it running for another 400K. Big Evil Grin here.

Congats on passing the milage hurdle.

I guess it can be assumed that your Cummins is now "broken-in" and it's safe to switch to synthetics?

Since I work for Shell and I change oil every 5K, I will probably stick with RotellaT in the block. I will probably bite the bullet and replace the origional tran oil with the same this weekend along with a synthetic in the rear end.

I rolled 200K a few weeks ago. It just amazes me at how well these B's run and run and run. I change the oil every 5k, with regular "dino" oil, and it is usually only1/2 quart low!



Not sure if I will make a million like the one in the last issue? Not sure if I would want to! About the only thing that is showing any wear is the seat foam, a little bit whaumpt out.
