What a Diesel!!!!

Getting a CDL????

Have been looking at a couple of 1010's lately but don't know much about them. They are a 4 cylinder diesel with glow plugs. We've had a 4020 4010 and a 4230's which are 6 cylinders and much bigger, 90 versus 36 hp. These tractors need long glow plug cycles to start where the 4010 and 4020 didn't need any starting aid down to about 20 degrees F. Motors also sound loud for as small as they are. They are 1961 models, any input? DW

i had an older 2020 or 2010 i borrowed from a buddy, worked good little low on power wouldnt go any faster than 3rd gear in low but it was track mounted. very hard to start when cold outside usually needed to use a booster pack or extra battery to crank up if below 30f, then i found the block heater and plugged it in 2 hours before starting it and started much easier. i had it for over a year with no mechanical problems. i gave it back so i wouldnt be tempted to put a small turbo on it.
