All depends on what I have the edge set at. If I have it on the hot setting the egts are dangerous, extreme they can get dangerous, the highest I have had the egts on the extreme setting was 1400 but not for long i backed of rather quickly and that was on the flat with just the truck. :-laf

Yeah new turbo is next on this list as well and headstuds. It really only gets hott when you put your foot in it. Its all how you drive it. Driving it balls to the walls is when it will reach 1400 at higher setting. Which I knew would happen.

If you tow a lot... ... save yourself the time and money and opt for the twins right up front. With my mods and twins,I cannot forcefully make my gauge go over 900*. And that is lugging hard and towing heavy. Between 600 and 800 is where I sit towing heavy and you can't beat the sound when that big turbo kicks in..... something to consider!!

Really with twins your egts dont reach over 900? Thats amazing! What twins do you have?

I have the BD Towing Twins..... had them for a year now. Single-handedly the best investment I ever made for my truck. To be fair though,I have an upgraded IC in conjunction with the turbo's.
