12 V Horse Power

Hey Guys



My brother-in-law bought my old 92 dodge Cumm SLT Q/C pickup,

He is thinking about bombing He would like to know how much Horse Power he can get out of the 12 V motor. I told him I would ask the experts ( you guys ) and find out for him. :--)

My guess would be about 300 flywheel HP. But I think thats pretty well maxed.

I'm hoping to dyno in April.

I'm with Bush on that one. About 300 is the max for this series of the BTA5. 9. The main limitaion is the fuel pump's flow ability.



This would require alot of mods, but not that expensive in comparison to some of the recent year models.

317 if you believe shieds dyno @ 32psi boost now has 48 psi boost but no dyno close

its a 89 engine
