Sold! Cast iron exhaust OEM manifold that came from a 1996 5.9 L Dodge diesel Cummins 12 valve 12v. Mileage on the engine when it was taken off was under 70,000. This should fit all Dodge/Cummins 12 valve models from 1989 through December 1998. It will not fit any 24 valve models.
If you have a high-mileage 12 valve Dodge diesel truck, you might need this. The OEM manifolds tended to shrink and then bend the attaching bolts, eventually breaking them off. Exhaust leaks follow which can cause more damage. Take a look (a flashlight helps) at the manifold bolts on your truck. If they're bent-or worse-broken off, it's time to replace the manifold. It'll only get worse and more difficult to repair.
I got ahead of the problem with a 3 piece manifold. And it turned out that by watching the EGTs, this OEM manifold had not shrunk measurably. (I could not find any bend to the bolts.) So it is in good shape.
It comes with the original bolts to attach it to the head, and also to bolt up the turbocharger and the other bolt-on items. It is drilled and tapped for an exhaust gas temperature (EGT) probe/sensor. If you don't use one, the hole can be blocked with a 1/8 inch pipe plug. It includes the used gasket for the turbo. Five of the port gaskets survived. It's probably for the best to use all new gaskets, though. The bolts should work, but it is a pain to install one of these manifolds with bolts! A set of threaded studs and nuts would make installation much nicer.
If you know what this is, you know that it's worth $65, now $45. I can ship this via UPS ground. Depending on your proximity to Phoenix, shipping will cost from $40 to $100 or so. Email contact works best at mshumaker@q.com
