12 valve gmc conversion

I own a 1983 gmc 1 ton that origanally had a 6. 2 when that blew up the previous owner installed a 6. 5. I recently bought and rebuilt a 12 valve non intercooled with rotary pump. I also bought an allison AT545 transmisson. I was wondering if anyone has done this kind of conversion before. And if i sould divorce the np205 transferr case or just build an adapter plate. Ill also need some heaver leafs if anyone has an source for leafs let me know.

I have a 1st gen in an 85 chevy crew cab that I put a roadranger 610 with a divorced 205 transfer case. I wish that there was a way for me to have bolted up the TC to the trans but I'm not familiar with one that will fit the roadranger. It has a little shaft in between the two and it works fine. I have 2 air bags that switch the TC back and forth from 2wd to 4wd. It seems to work OK.

My best friend works at machine shop and can build me a adapter plate if i decide to go that route.
