so, i cleaned my engine bay with degreaser and sprayed it off. . "

stupid" while not running. and now the morning after it still won't start. . what should i look for and how to get it started. i tried M-50 from chrysler to further ignite air intake from the filter. . and sprayed it on the electrical connections and wires to dry it out... . now what

More info , details on truck , the easiest maybe to find a heated garage to park in for at least overnight if not longer .
But most 12v should not have an issue .
What are the temps there .

Check to see if your fuel solenoid is pulling up. The moisture from the cleaning may be shorting out the relay or the solenoid.

Agree with Joe G. We don't have the electronics that moisture would prevent starting. Turn key on and bump starter, open the hood and feel the solenoid rod position. Bet it is still down. If so, pull it up and it should stay up and start.

I've had that problem when i got too much water in my air filter. I was very worried but used my shop vac to dry the filter. Took a long time, but once dry the truck started right up again and ran fine. Not sure if Dodge trucks have a starter solenoid, but you might try using something to connect the two posts to see if it the starter will at least spin.

I should have also mentioned that the solenoid is powered by the small blue wire at the drivers side battery positive terminal. Common for them to corrode and break. Maybe the pressure disturbed a bad connection there. This would keep the solenoid from pulling up.

all of you guys have good ideas and responses, but i did think it could have been inj. lines with air in em and cracked all open then. . a local go to guy said to check the fuel shutoff and i did. i felt the cylindrical housing it sits in and it was warm from trying to start. Then i had someone turn the key and the rod responded "up" when key engaiged but when you try to start it should it stay up or what should it do???? also i've had the truck where if i hit a good bump in the road it will shut the engine off. . could that be that plunger shutting it off as welll. . thanks guys

All the way one way to run, all the way the other way to shut off. I yanked the solenoid setup off before installing the engine in my truck. Knew i didn't want to mess with the electronics, they might fail. I replaced it with a PTO cable into the cab and just pull it to kill the engine.

The fuel solenoid should be up all the time the engine is running. A good bump could be dropping the fuel solenoid rod is there is a poor connection because of being wet. All of this should go away when it's dry.
