Just wanted to have a little fun after work today and put the petal to the metal. Well,suprize, #ad
suprize, #ad
surprize, it stayed right there. Pucker factor pretty high up there doing 90 down river road. Thought reasonably fast to turn ignition off and coast to stop. Glad my better half was not at wheel. The throttle cable seems ok. The throttle arm on pump felt stuck. pulled on it hard and it freed up. Whats up with this???Any ideas?

This usually happens if the ends of the throttle return spring from the pump lever to a bracket on the block break. The replacement spring has plastic on the ends so it will last longer. The spring is double so there are actually two wires on each end.

Anyone has a pic or know where one is of the throttle linkages and springs. Looks like I might be missing something. The return spring is intact but needs replacement bad. Something ain't right??
