Just curious if anyone else has had difficulty getting ordered vehicles in a timely manner on the East Coast. I ordered the truck the end of March and it was apparently finished being built and on its way to the Mexico shipyard on 5/15.

My dealer has been great so far, and I realize this is out of there control. I just am curious if I am the only one having this issue.

Thanks in advance.

I ordered my C&C in sept. '06 and never got it until first week of Jan. '07. It is a killer to wait so long.

Jim

Yeah that would be one heck of a wait.

My truck seems to be taking a vaction in Bermuda on the way to Baltimore or something. Being stuck driving a Honda and sharing one car is no fun.

One clarifier, the only real reason I am anxious is the last time I ordered a truck was in 04 at around the same time in the year and it only took 6 weeks to show.

Sorry to hear that. I ordered mine May 23 and it is expected in Spokane on June 26. Maybe if we're all lucky they'll get these "flashes" all straightened out before we take delivery and we won't need to deal with all these particulate issues.

Hey MOD,

Relax and enjoy the time. Jesus may come back before twelve weeks is up.

Just kidding.....

It is a tough wait.

My 05 took one month to get delivered from the day I ordered it. My 95 on the other hand took 8 1/2 months to deliver from the time I ordered it. Both came from Mexico.

Just picked up the truck last night :) only took 13 weeks... .

I think my truck got caught up in the "contaminated crankshaft recall" and they delayed it being built until that was resolved.

Congratulation on your new truck. I'm glad they got that crankshaft recall resolved. Did you find out what "KZWK" is. Post pics.

Forever..........!!!!!!!

:mad::mad: You've really got to want a Mega Cab bad to buy one.

I ordered mine on April 28 . Was finally scheduled for delivery on July9,

but checked with the dealer yesterday and now it's been moved up to

July 16... ... . and I wouldn't place any bets on that!

Be patient guys. I just picked mine up wednesday, I waited about 2-1/2 months I think but none of this compares to the year I waited for my new Mack back in '95. The heavy truck market was booming and the wait was aout a year regardless of which manufacturer you bought a truck from. Another thing, and this is just an observation from being in business, customers almost always think you have no backlog and are waiting for you start their order right now. They also think you can do a 50 hour job in a 8 or 10 hour shift. Just wait, your new Mega-Cab will arrive just like mine did.

Nine long weeks..... ordered mine 03/23/07 and received 05/25/07. Took delivery 05/30/07... ... . but it was worth the wait for sure ! :-laf Oo. :D

I called about mine yesterday and they said it was in kzl status which is in transit, but they could not give me a railcar number.

Did you get the info from Daimler Chrysler or the dealership ? DC most likely can't supply you with a rail car number, but your dealer can after it's on a rail car.

According to the info I have, KZL means "released but not shipped".

Greg

Yes,i got the info from DC. When i asked the status they said it was KZL which is in transit according to the woman i spoke with. My dealer said he shows KZL but no rail car#. So your probably right,it's still sitting there.
