Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) 12v guy w/24v question

A friend just bought a 99 24v. He bought the Superchip which he's very happy with. Does the turbo need a boost fooler like my 12v does? Also, is the KDP a concern with the 99's? I've warned him about the electric liftpump. I also told him to keep the chip turned down or off until he installs gauges. For those running the FASS, is this a worthwhile upgrade? What fabrication is required? His rig is 4x4 xcab longbed.

tell him to watch the superchip programmer. Some guys have ran it and liked it, but most have found them to be over rated for horsepower and also found that they ran hotter than most of the boxes on the market. It should have a boost fooler built in to the programming.

superchip did sell a box made by Edge Products similar to the EZ.



Yes, the KDP is a concern.
