Here's what I have: 98 12v Auto, doing a 5 spd conversion this spring, putting in a dual disk clutch, BHAF, HX-40, #10 Plate, 4000 GSK, Gauges.

Up to how much HP can a stock 12v lift pump handle?

I'd like to shoot for the 500 hp range over time with mods, and I'm thinking about getting injectors. I'm looking into DDP 75's, 90's, & 140's. Is anyone running any of these injectors, with what done to your truck and how do they react? I'd like to only buy one set as the mods continue. Just wondering if I went with the 90's how they would react with my current setup and if I could reach my goal with them.

Any input or opinions welcome. Thanks.

My '97 has-

10 plate full forward.

DDP Stage 4 injectors (ran 370 marines before)

191 Delivery valves (waste of money)

Stock gov springs

HTT 64/14 (ran a PDR HX40) Gained 53hp and 99ft/lbs tq with the HTT. No other changes. Not to mention lower EGTs and less smoke (and more controllable). Lag similar.

ATS exhaust manifold.

BHAF

Goerends w/ triple disc TC

Last time I dyno'd in '08. Hit 416hp/892tq.

The stock lift pump will handle the hp, but you'll need a better fuel filter setup. Can't handle the flow requirements under power. Starves the P7100.

Your lift pump is fine for 600 HP+. However, if you are running the original 180 HP P7100 injection pump, it may or may not give you enough fuel for 500 HP. It will give enough for 400-450 HP.
