WELL WE GOT MORE TO LOOK FOR THAN JUST THE KDP,MAKE SURE YOU CHECK ALL THE BOLTS THAT ARE IN BEHINED THE GEARS, WE JUST HAD ONE OF OUR TRUCKS GO DOWN. JURT KNEW IT WAS THE KDP BUT TO MY SUREPRISE IT WASNT THAT... . ONE OF THE BOLTS HAD FELL OUT INSTEAD WHAT WE KNOW SO FAR IS

TIMMING GEAR,CRANK GEAR,CAM SHAFT BROKE IN TWO SPOTS,6BENT PUSH RODS. PULLING MOTOR OUT TOMORROW,MORE TO COME

the truck is a 1992 with 215000 miles the problem is this is only one of many 89,90,92,92,97,98 wasnt to woried about the kdp, most of my trucks have more miles than other readers

some one asked me once how many does it take to wareout a cummins my reply was i dont know i only got 470,000 on one truck 1,500,000 on 6 trucks



by the way orderd 6 sets of seals today
