I hope that my 24V is as tuff as these 12V,heres why. My friend Kevin has a "96"3500 stake body dump that he bought new,it now has 66,800 miles on it ,he's in landscaping. Needless to say everybody that works for him drives it. We got talking about our diesels,to make a long story short,up until yesterday,he had never changed his air filter, and only changed his oil 3 times. Up until a month ago, I changed his fuel filter for the very first time. He and his employes NEVER idol the motor to cool down , the just shut it off ,they don't wait to start lite to go out ,hop in, turn key, and go. If this isn't abuse i don't know what is,at least in my eyes it is. I just hope my Cummins hold up as well as his. BTW the only time it's been to the dealership is when he picked it up new. Mike

Not that I like to see stuff treated this way, this was my first experiance with the dodge-cummins set-up. My friend had a 97 3500, and he ragged that thing to death, and it ran like nothing was wrong and was never in the shop. I thought that if these things could take that treatment, they would really last long if you take care of them and that's how it's been with my 12vers :)
