Which alternator?

if you had a choice to buy a used 24v or a 12v and they both had the same miles(100,000) which would you buy a why??? and would you take a 12v auto over a 24v manual?????

say you would also only pay for one up to 20,000

keep them coming guys, convince me so i can go and get a truck!!!

is it worth getting the 12v even if it has a auto, when i could get a 24v manual???? i would only be towing max 12,000 once in a blue moon

Sure, I pull anywhere from 8-15k, but is mostly seasonal, and most of it is under 40mph (farm implements or very short distances mostly). The truck doesn't care, the only exception would be torque convertor lock-up clutch. I can slip it ( only if I'm not watching it) with only having the mods. listed in my sig.

Planning on getting a BOMBed transmission and a plate for the pump when the truck is paid for (should be by Christmas, if not before Oo. Oo. ).
