Does it really matter what color FCA said good for 120 thousand miles that is if 2014 3.0 diesel will make to that,

I was servicing my 12 this one time. Drained the oil swapped out the filter, the wife asked me something... They always have to when you are in the middle of something that requires your focus. Anyway get done answering her go on to start re filling the engine with oil. Dump in the first gal start the second one look down an see the drain plug laying on the cardboard underneath the truck. I never moved so fast... got the plug in an only lost about a quart of new 15-40. So I can fully understand how things happen... Even with out a drink or 6.

I was 16, first ever oil change I'd done by myself, '76 Pinto 2.3L I4. I drained the oil, changed the filter, and proceeded to refill. I put four or five quarts in and checked it. Nothing on the stick. Put in three more, checking the stick each time, still nothing. Went to get another quart and my foot slipped on the concrete floor. I was standing in a puddle of fresh oil, I'd never put the drain plug in. It hasn't happened to me again since.
