14 year old heating oil...worth anything?

A friend just called me and she has access to 800 gallons of home heating oil in an underground tank. The only problem is that it is 14 years old. My assumption is that it has "stuff" growing in it and is probably worthless. Does anybody hear think it is still usable as a home heating oil.

Been burning some stuff at least 20 years old in my truck with no problems. Not putting in more than 5 gallons per tank though, and I filter it first. I also give it a good dose of Amalgamated fuel additive.



The main thing is to make sure you separate any water out that's likely to be in the tank. There was water in the tank I emptied so I separated that off before storing the fuel.
