And the original water pump decided today was the day to die. After calling a couple of dealers and getting the 239 dollar price, I called Autozone, thining this would be a waste of time. 59 dollars and about an hour later and I was on the trails again. It has been seeping for a few months, but I really could not pin point the leak. That weep hole is next to impossible to see and it always drips off of the oil pan rail. This new pump's impeller is a lot different as is the casting, but all the measurements were the same. The old casting was dated 4-91, must be the original. The bearings are nice and smooth, I was wondering if anybody has had a machine shop put a new seal in one? Might be nice to have on a trip in about 2020... Glen

Local case IH tractor dealer keeps them in stock.

The local case IH tractor dealer keeps them in stock and no tax is added as long as you are working on a tractor :-laf. It would be tuff for them to beat your price tho.
