Does anyone know if a 3532214 housing is a 14cm? I have one that came off my 1995 non-Dodge WH1C that I will be using on a hybrid HX35. It is bolted on the truck now so I don't know if it has a number stamped inside the port. A new one is being auctioned on eBay now, auction number 300074930661 ending tomorrow.

Not 100% sure, but I don't know that the WH1C housing will fit a HX35.

I have some spare turbo parts and I put another WH1C housing on the HX35 to check the fit. I have read a few times they interchange. Of the 3 spare exhaust housings that I have, only one has the size stamped in it, and it is from a 24valve.

Of the 5 Holset exhaust housings I have had, all had the number stamped in the exhaust port.

Sorry, I don't know how the external numbers relate to the housing size.

I was out in the shop this afternoon and looked at the 14cm housing on my shelf. The casting number on mine is 3529874, with a 164 and a 14 below that. This is a 14 wastegated housing.

The 3532214 is a 12cm wastegated housing. I have a 14cm housing on my 92 (HAD a 14 stamped inside the turbine inlet flange til I did some porting), and the number is different.

I'm looking at possably doing something with the turbo , after a built trans. , I thought that the WH1C & the HX35 were not interchangable parts wize , thats good to know , more opptions .

I removed it from my truck and it has a 12 stamped inside it. The non-wastegated one I have turned out to be 18cm after checking the casting numbers, it was not stamped.

Does anyone know what area of the housing is larger on the 14cm? I was wondering if a 12 could be modified to a 14.

The area where the scroll comes back into itself is where it is measured. I dont think it would be time efficient or cost effective to convert it to a 14cm.

The WH1C exhaust housing WILL fit an HX35 and vice versa. Compressor housings are different, though.
