my thing is i have guages b/c it think they look cool on the a pillar so i dont want to pay for something i dont need! but i am glad it is available for guys who want that. i am waiting on Edge. they are saying by the end of Aug. only time will tell. this is giving me time to get everything ready go gauges air filter now i am working on exhaust and by the time the box come out and i can afford it it will be chistmas so they should have the buggs worked out by then. then i will fly

yea, the new box will be great for your application as well. you don't have to buy the in-cab thingie and that will keep the cost down. this may be a repeat question, but do you have any pics of your a-pillar gauge install?

I'm with you CATCRACKER. I don't want that extra stuff. I already have in-cab monitoring (gauges on the A-pillar), in-cab adjustability (my right foot), and automatic de-fueling (my right foot again).

By my calculations that makes my right foot worth about $400:D

I agree that waiting to get it right is the best policy; whatever the company.

I have one of the original boxes made for ISB Cummins trucks. TST was the first; I bought mine a month after they started selling them -- the fifth or sixth box sold I think. One little old toggle switch and a simple LED green-yellow-red telling you how much fuel was being added. And you can bet I was calling Mark asking when it would be ready up until it was released! Bought it in mid '98 and ran it until traded the truck on my '03. It's a-lot more complex now.

I'm gonna wait for the Edge box too. I'm putting guages in my truck today, I hate running blind. I ran my bully dog box without guages for two weeks now, I wasn't real worried about EGT, but it still bugged me. I installed the DD turbo yesterday, and I gotta know what's going on. I'm still breaking in the turbo, keeping it under about 20 psi, but it's gonna be a lot easier with guages to know where 20 psi is.

But so far I like the turbo, ok love is a better word. It feels like the boost comes up faster, but it's hard to tell when your babying it around. It sounds like an F-16 is under the hood with all that turbo whistle and the air rushing stuff going on. Exhaust sounds different, deeper and louder. Can't wait until I can nail it next to some buildings and hear it roar.

Going racing again this weekend. Got a buddy with a HO/Auto with a Bully Dog box, and we are gonna see what he can do.

Not to be a complete idiot here, but I live near Pittsburgh and was wondering if Pittsburgh Power is the same place as Diesel Injection of Pittsburgh?
