16" 2nd gen wheels on 3rd gen?

Just wondering if anybody has tried a 2nd gen steel wheel on the 3rd gen. I just bought some Cooper snow tires for the 94, but it may be in the shop for the remainder of winter. I wouldn't mind swapping if I knew they fit. (and aren't bent )

No way. Brake calipers are too large on the 03. 17 inch rims are the smallest that will fit.

Wow, quick response. That's what I was affraid of. Tire selection in 17 inch is pretty slim but should improve.

Is the bolt pattern and offset the same though? I'm hoping my Rickson 19. 5" wheels will fit (dually)... that'd be one of the pros of upgrading if I did.



My biggest beef with the 03s is the dual-zone climate control. It's still MANUAL! I want the fully automatic system like in my new Grand Cherokee... Grrr.
