16.5" Tire Question

I bought my truck used a few years ago and it came with some real nice aluminum wheels that are 16. 5". I have 33x12. 50R16. 5LT tires that are going to need replacing in the next 6 months to a year. BIG O says this size isn't produced much anymore and might be hard to get. I really like the wheels and would like to keep them. I don't have a lot of tire knowledge and I'm not sure if they're just trying to sell me wheels or if I'm REALLY going to be out of luck in the future.



Anybody know much about this?

you can still get 16. 5" tires--BFG, SuperSwampers and a few others--you can go to www.4wheelparts.com and see what they have--chris

Yeah, I doubt that 16. 5s will be going away anytime soon.



Cooper and MasterCraft also make a bunch of 16. 5s... I have a set of MasterCraft 33x12. 5x16. 5 LTs right now.

Thanks for the responses... I'm gonna get these wheels polished up, put some new tires on and keep them for a while.
