Hey guys,
Had a little family get-together this past weekend and saw my uncle who has a bone stock '95. I told him a few things I could do to the engine to give it that extra power he has always been looking for but he doesn't know where to start and what to bomb. I told him about TDR so hopefully he should be subscribing soon cuz he was real interested in it.
So here are my questions.
Being it is a 160 pump how would a #10 and a 3Kgsk work for him?
If so, would you recommend going to a 14cm2 turbine housing to help out with EGTs? Maybe a timing adjustment after the #10 and 3K?
I am going to adjust his wastegate for optimum boost levels, so how does 35 psi sound for moving that much more fuel?
How about DVs? Would he need anything bigger being it is only a 160 pump?
Thanks in advance for the info, guys. I am well trained on my 215 pump, so I thought I would ask if I should do anything different being it is 160.
He also has never done his KDP and it has over 115,000 miles, so I think that will be the first thing along with gauges before I tell him to get the #10 and 3K.
