2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission 17" wheels from '05 dually 2wd

Will wheels from an '05 dually fit on my truck? I need to know as I was told the steering upgrade I plan to put on will not fit with factory 16" wheels. I need to know this because I am going to install this upgrade in about a week. Thanks

Others have reported retrofitting 2003 and up 17" wheels to Gen II trucks. I don't think any warnings apply or modifications required.
