Why can the "Little Boys" get 20" low profile tires & rims on their 1500 trucks, but those of us with "Full Size Tastes" get stuck with an unremarkable looking and expensive 17" rim?

DC should at least give us a 19. 5" rim as an option.

I'd also like to see them add a set of gauges and an exhaust brake. Those have to be the two most common after-market add on's, so why not DESIGN them into the truck, and make a few bucks off them at the same time?

Anyone seen a price sheet on these new units yet?

Well I am following the info on the new trucks. I am planning to order one around this time next year. I have 19. 5's on my truck now. When the first set on this new truck wear out hopefull rickson will have something for these new axles ( if the bolt patterns change) Present truck 2500 Reg cab. Future truck?? 2004 (NON EGR) 3500 as SRW QC. Anyone with specific info keep us posted- Please!!

Pricing

I have the pricing on 3500 long box but it is Canadian. Won't help you folks south of us much. If any Candians want info, email me directly. Cheers.

You Can Get the Exhaust Brake in 03

Just had a Dodge/Cummins rep give a presentation where the Jacob-Cummins exhaust brake will be avail as a dealer installed option on 03 Cummins equipped Dodges. It comes complete with a vacuum pump (no longer comes with truck). He also briefed it can be installed on the 03 48RE automatic equipped trucks. No price given.

so the 20"s are an option. . hmm. . i wonder what tire size they will stick on those rims. the 1500's get 20"x9" rims iirc, wonder if the 2500/3500's get the same. . ? i'd rather like to see a factory 18x9" wheel option. that would be super. . some 315/60/16 sport truck tires:):), or some 325/60/16 all terrains:D :D

Hi Nick,

The 20" optional tires look like the low profile sporters you see on the new little VW Beetles,( a lot of wheel and not much tire). I personally couldn't see putting this type of tire on something I would be using to pull a 31footer with.
