Finally took the plunge and had my local Dodge dealer flash the 18-037-04. When I first spoke to the service mgr. and lead tech they said they had not done the flash and could not predict results. They also said there was no going back once it was done. I really didn't understand why they could not reinstall original software. Bottomline, we did it 2 weeks ago and nearly 2000 miles I am now seeing a 2. 5 mpg decrease in consumption. Now get 17-18. 5 0n highway and 15. 5-16 in town
I rarely saw the white smoke issue, but fuel use was not good imo. You still need to have light foot or it inhales fuel.
These numbers are all hand calculated with fillups to the filler neck. I sure appreciate the info. we can obtain on the TDR. thanks
