Just got back from a 172mile run. Filled it to a mark on the neck before leaving. Used digital speedometer and constantly checked mileposts and it was within . 003/mi accurate. Set cruise control on 60, returned and parked it in the same spot, filled it again to the same mark in the filler neck. 9. 45 gal measured in graduated container. Yesssss, 18. 1MPG!!!!! Wow, that sure beats 7. 5mpg with the old gaspot.

If you add the cost savings with red fuel it works out the same cost per mile as getting 23. 4mpg, HAA, in a motorhome no less. Amazing! I love this engine !!!!!

Main = 32gal
Left aux =36gal
Right aux=22gal
Total = 90gal x 18. 1mpg = 1629mi range

Holy soot Batman, thats alot of plowin #ad

Iv'e got an aluminum 100 gal built into my car/boat/toys trailer (oh brother,talk about ridiculous) for a range of 3439 in case we have a real fuel shortage #ad
plus, now I don't have to fill it up until it needs an oil change.

I've been called compulsive/obsessive, but personally I don't see it. I just take the medicine like the nice doctor says.

So Larry now you can drive from Seattle to San Diego on one fill up,then on to Cabo san Lucas on the next. You can also be the first one on the block to boast that you only fill up once in every country you drive though.

Yea and if I take the trailer I can just fuel up once in Cabo. I just checked and diesel is $1. 67 for high sulfer stuff. Maybe I'll just take enough to make the border and bring home a full load #ad

Larry, great job on the motor home! I checked out your site and was impressed. Let us know how the thing does on your first long trip[. Try not to race those 5. 0 Mustangs and you can possibly keep things in the cupboard!!
