Looks right to me definetley need a plate with a 3 gsk, exhaust is good, you need more air and timing.

What is the HP/TQ rating on the 8 plate?(you mite need more air. )

don't like the gov springs it lets you rev higher but they move the power band for towing . just a couple clicks on the gov springs lets you rev to 2700 and that works good.

If you have a '96 & your considering a #8 plate, that will bump you to 230hp/605TQ. Missouri Mule is correct in needing more air. More fuel... ... more air. No getting around it. If you search the forum here you'll find a wealth of info on this. But IMHO that's about as far as you should go safely with a stock transmission... ... Then be careful with that.

I have the #6 plate, and am very happy. I have improved airflow with intake and exhaust only, I have no EGT problems. I have not towed very heavy since the upgrade though.
