Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) 180 or 215 how to tell?

Can you tell what engine you have if the data plate is missing on the front cover. are their #`s on the pump itself,and where are they located? thnax

Do you have a egr system? If so the cpl# is 1863. Look at the plate on the side of the pump behind the throttle bellcrank assy. If its a 215 it will have a 913# or a 887#. Hope this helps.

your running a manual so if it has an egr, california truck, its a 180 and if not its the 215.
