19.5 wheel adapters

Looking to install 19. 5 tires debating between 265/70 or 245/70 does anybody have any experience doing this with adapters and ten bolt rims. I have a step deck trailer that has 265/70 so if I went this way I would have similar equipment on two different vehicles. I have found plenty of people that have the ricksons but looking to see if people that have gone the adapter route liked it or had any troubles I will be putting these on an 06 Dually

Adapters do work but what happens is they push the wheel out a little..... I do have the ricksons forged aluminum "eliminator" very light and shines great! ... If you did go and get these so equipment was the same, odds are if you have a problem with one, the other vehicle would not be able to rescue it... . you would just fix or replace that problem one.....



So I went the less hassle way and got the ricksons, uses my lugs and center cap and sorta looks like a stock rim "Dodge style"... ... rims are heavy enough at 4500# ... . In my opinion, people who put the adapters want to put "bling" 22. 5 or 24. 5" rims on for the big rig look..... One truck I saw had 11 R 24. 5" on and it was jacked way up... no way to haul a heavy 5th or even a TT ... . so go the easy route, less lugs to worry about and poss things to go wrong.....



I have Michelin 245 / 70 R 19. 5" ... 12 ply "F" rated... . on Ricksons "Eliminator" forged aluminum rims... ...
