I was at the Winternationals in Pomona this weekend and Alcoa had a booth. I talked to them for quite a while. They said their 19. 5 dually wheel won't be out till Late this year maybe early 2004. I thought Rickson sold 19. 5 Alcoas.

I was realy interested in a set for my 97 because of the weight I carry with the camper and race trailer.

What kind of experiences have you guys had with 19. 5s.

I have found another company called Aluminum Precision Products that makes 19. 5 Dually wheels in several styles, has anyone tried their product?

Thanks, Rod

I have seen the APP wheels, and ridden in a F350 superduty that had them. They are beautiful wheels with an ugly pricetag. I was quated something in th realm of $4000 just for the wheels and centers (dually), much too rich for my blood.

I have come to the conclusion that 19. 5's just aint worth it to me. If I was running that heavy and needed them I'd be over gross anyway, and would be upgrading the truck instead.

They do look sweet though:D .

www.appwheels.com I would love to have a set of 19. 5's. I think I would have to go with the steel and the stainless steel simulators. Easier to rotate and the price is much better. You would need to upgrade to Bilsteins with either the aluminum or steel 19. 5's.
